Getting lost in this ornate, peaceful, sprawling complex is great fun. It's free to visit and easily accessible by bus. I came on a Sunday at around noon and basically had the place to myself.

A hidden gem of Singaporean Chinese architecture. Very beautiful and interesting mix of Fujian and Guangdong arts. A must see of Toa Payoh.
